When you connect your Google account to MUZIM, we may access:

  • Google Photos: Photos and videos you select to sync with MUZIM

  • Google Drive files: Files and folders you choose to sync with MUZIM

  • Photos and files: Stored locally on your macOS device

3. Technical Information

  • Device information: macOS version, device type

  • Synchronize selected photos from Google Photos to your local device

  • Synchronize selected files from Google Drive to your local device

Local Storage

  • All your photos and files are stored locally on your macOS device

  • We do NOT upload your photos or files to our servers

  • We do NOT have access to your local storage

OAuth Tokens

  • Access tokens are securely stored in your device’s Keychain

  • Tokens are encrypted and protected by macOS security features

  • We do NOT store your Google account password

No Cloud Backup

  • MUZIM does not maintain any cloud storage or backup of your data

  • All data processing happens locally on your device

We Do NOT Sell Your Data

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

  • Google Photos Picker API: To access photos you select

  • Google Drive API: To access files you select

Your Rights and Choices

Access and Control

You have the right to:

Revoking Google Access

You can revoke MUZIM’s access to your Google account at any time:

  1. Visit Google Account Permissions

  2. Find MUZIM and click "Remove Access"

  3. In the MUZIM app, click "Logout" to clear local tokens

Data Deletion

To delete your data:

  1. Uninstall the MUZIM application

  2. Delete the local storage folder (if desired)

  3. Revoke access from your Google account (see above)

Data Security

We implement security measures to protect your information:

  • Encryption: OAuth tokens are stored in macOS Keychain with encryption

  • Secure connections: All API communications use HTTPS/TLS

  • Local processing: Data processing happens entirely on your device

  • No cloud storage: We do not store your data on remote servers

However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

MUZIM is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
We will notify you of any changes by:

  • Updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy

  • Displaying a notice in the app (for significant changes)

Your continued use of MUZIM after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

International Data Transfers

MUZIM operates locally on your macOS device.
However, when you use Google services (Photos, Drive), your data may be transferred to and stored on Google’s servers worldwide, subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
